Lower Kindergarten (LKG) at Little Munals

Where Young Minds Take Their First Big Steps

At Little Munals, our LKG program is thoughtfully curated to build a solid foundation for early learners aged 4 to 5 years. We believe that this stage is crucial as it bridges the gap between preschool and formal schooling. Our approach combines academics with creativity, play, and emotional development to ensure well-rounded growth.

Children in LKG are introduced to key concepts in literacy and numeracy through fun, hands-on experiences. They learn alphabet sounds, basic word formation, counting, shapes, and patterns. With engaging activities such as storytelling, drawing, rhymes, music, and theme-based learning, we make each day exciting and educational.

Beyond academics, our focus lies in developing essential life skills — confidence, independence, teamwork, and communication. Our experienced and caring teachers create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, respected, and encouraged to explore their potential.

We follow a structured routine that includes circle time, free play, activity-based learning, outdoor games, and rest, creating a healthy balance in their day. With a strong emphasis on motor development, language skills, and socio-emotional well-being, we prepare children for a smooth transition into UKG and further schooling.
